Konnakol: ancient rhythm language

‘Its Rishabh Dhar here a globally know Pakhawaj Maestro & Percussionist performing & teaching all across the globe since past 23 years. The Countries which have hosted my performances so far are : UK, Netherlands, Germany, France, Austria, Belgium, Poland, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Canada, USA, UAE, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Bangladesh, China, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, South Korea & Fiji Islands etc.
It is really an honor to share with you all the knowledge & the experiences I have accumulated in the field of Konnakol (Ancient Rhythmic language ). Let me speak about Konnakol a bit. Konnakol comes from South of India . Its an ancient language of rhythms. Its a very complex rhythmic system and not many people are aware of  its existence. I have studied this difficult art form for the past few years and have managed to simplify konnakol for normal people & musicians globally to understand it and learn it  and also understand the huge benefits of learning it. Being a musician I clearly understand the benefits of Konnakol and thoroughly recommend all musicians globally be of any genre should learn this art form. But the most interesting part for my understanding is the scientific and the spiritual benefits of learning Konnakol from a non-musicians perspective
  • It is scientifically proven to relax people from stress and trauma
  • It increases ones concentration power
  • It works as a therapeutic Yoga (like Pranayama)
  • Spiritually it is a form of complete Sadhana (disciplined and dedicated practice or learning in the field of religion and music).
By practicing Konnakol even non-musicians can hugely be benifitted. Children from different cultures have shown increase in their concentration levels.
I have taken up a mission to spread konnakol and its benefits to the global audience. I would like to request you all to host me for workshops/ courses in your respected School/college/University/Organisation so that I can share my experience with you all and with the students. I am ready to sollicitate and would like to join your esteemed institution as a regular or visiting faculty.’

Raga Concerts in De Lindewei promo video

Brothers Khan & Heiko Dijker

Indian Classical Music
